When loved ones begin to experience memory loss, we understand the need for a safe and stimulating environment. We have a community-like environment with fun activities that makes it comfortable for your loved ones.
Memory Care requires highly trained and licensed professionals to care for persons with a diagnosis of irreversible dementia. We make sure we are engaged with our residents on a deep, personal level. We find out as much as we can from their family members so we can spend time with each resident with purposeful activity, stimulating conversation and enjoyable pastimes that are tailored to individual interests. Whatever hobby or activity that played a major part in the past will continue to be a significant part of their life.
Our team takes a highly personalized approach to help residents with their memory care needs.
- Assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, eating, mobility and medication management
- Physical, occupational and speech therapies available
- Interactive games and activities
- Private suites
- Three chef-prepared meals per day
- Weekly housekeeping and laundry service
- Licensed, certified staff on call 24/7
We have a community completely dedicated to providing a structured, comfortable and serene environment so our residents can continue to have positive interactions. Each resident has their own suite with a private bathroom which still lends to as much independence as possible while giving them a feeling of an extension of their home. Our staff are there to oversee their care and offer assistance where needed.
Our goal is to connect with our residents on such a deep, personal level that we are able to provide the most tailored programs and activities possible to keep them stimulated and engaged. We care for your loved ones as if they were our own family.
We accept Medicare and 14 insurances. We are not participants in the MediCal program. We also accept private pay.
Memory Care is only offered at The Sequoias Portola Valley and The Sequoias San Francisco.
